The incentive for this MR is that I am working on a project which will have digest_auth as an indirect dependency, causing duplicate dependencies in different versions in said project. Warnings about these are given by cargo deny check.

I was gonna say I'll wait for the sharp 0.5.0 release, but looking at the release cycle, ..... yeah
